Hugo is an innovator and strategic leader with expertise in Health and Tech. He is dedicated to reducing disparities through inclusive cutting-edge solutions, working with hard-to-reach communities.
Hugo currently works as a Senior Business Development Manager, creating and maintaining solid relationships and incorporating technology infrastructure in the company.
Hugo has been working at Harvard University for almost 10 years, delivering high-quality instrumental technology in contouring a human-centered approach that delivers top-notch learner experience to students and professors worldwide. He has over 7 years of experience working full-time at Cambridge Health Alliance, where he held positions such as Senior Suicide Depression Program Coordinator, Program Coordinator for the Volunteer Health Advisor program, and developed cutting-edge and culturally appropriate programming for improved health outcomes among vulnerable populations in greater Boston. Additionally, he worked as a consultant for a nonprofit organization dedicated to exposing STEM to students K-8th on recommendations concerning organizational and operational management. He also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Babson College in an innovation lab partnering with the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) in Rwanda, helping shape entrepreneurial thinking toward global healthcare.
Hugo holds an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Marketing, and Global Healthcare from Babson College. He studied Psychology and Sociology as an undergraduate. He is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese.
Apart from his professional pursuits, Hugo loves to travel the world, dance Salsa, and meet new people.
