Coming in April – The 3rd Edition of Foundations for Community Health Workers! Our Executive Director – James Figueiredo – and our Director of Clinical & Cross-Cultural Training – Marilyn Gardner – cowrote the chapter on guiding principles including ethical guidelines, establishing and maintaining professional boundaries, scope of practice, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. In addition, James was the sole author of the chapter titled “Successful Group Facilitation” including the dynamic nature of group work, facilitation techniques and challenges, establishing group culture, strategies for overcoming fear and now.
